Horticulture volunteering
Holton Lee - Poole, Dorset
The 6 main volunteering opportunities that currently exist at Holton Lee are
• Horticulture - Garden maintenance, propagation, harvesting and making preserves from garden produce
• Growing Futures – Enabling and supporting participants with higher disability needs to gain the benefits from our horticultural therapy service.
• Conservation - Maintaining and conserving a varied and protected landscape including heathland, saltmarsh, reedbeds and woodland.
• Grounds and Building Maintenance – A variety of roles from site warden to trade skills and general odd jobs.
• Office Admin - Helping with the day to day running of the charity.
• Sustainability – Helping to reduce our environmental impact.
• Marketing – Promoting the charity and helping to raise our profile in the wider community.
• Fundraising – Running fundraising projects for the charity.
• Events - Sharing your skills to help organise and run events in aid of the charity.
